So I recently DJ-ed in Christchurch. Nice little gig as it goes, but that’s not what I wanted to tell you. On the flight into Christchurch you go over the mountains. It’s real Lord Of The Rings territory there – like REAL – but as we flew over I thought were we close to landing and the mountains were just, well, hills. After a little while I noticed some roads, houses and cars. They were TINY!!!!
These really were massive mountains.
My perspective was all skewed. I thought I knew what I had in front of me, but I had no frame of reference, so my mind saw what it thought it could see.
This is the same for you.
When you think about starting Prime Mover, trying Spartan, trying Performance, or even sticking to the nutrition, your frame of reference is what you think you know. If I had a pound for every time I’ve heard ‘I was really scared to try Prime Mover, but now I love it,’ I’d have about £173! If you’re reading this and you haven’t yet ventured to Prime Mover because you ‘know it’s just another gym,’ get yourself down and let us change your perspective.
If you’re already a Mover and you’re just thinking of doing your FitTest Level 1, take the next step, get booked in and change your perspective.
If you think you’re too small, weak, unfit to do Performance, try it and CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE.
The point is – if you don’t move your point of view, if you always rely on what you think you know about the world. Things will never change and you’ll never have the chance for real growth.
