‘WOW’ was all I could think to say as the Mind, Body, Spirit Weekender came to an end on Sunday. Our Prime Mover 3-day retreat in the Yorkshire Dales was nothing short of amazing! The feelings of total peacefulness, happiness, and freedom the retreaters experienced this weekend could never be fully expressed in a blog, but we can at least share what they got up to and how much fun was had!
So, what was a day with Prime Mover in the stunning Yorkshire Dales like? Well, for starters it was pretty breathtaking…
Each morning started bright & early at 6.30 with sunrise yoga and meditation hosted by the lovely, Nina. The group got to experience Kundalini Yoga for the first time and enjoy some relaxation time as they meditated afterwards with the sun pouring in through the windows.
After yoga, the group was treated to freshly made juice full of fruits and vegetables created by our incredible chef for the weekend, Scott. Every time the group sat down for a meal they were blown away by Scott’s creations.

The girls kept saying they couldn’t believe healthy food could have so much flavour! Scott kindly shared with them how easy it is to turn boring dishes into something totally amazing.
And even though they felt as if they ate like Kings all weekend, everyone managed to lose weight – bonus!
So what was everyone doing when they weren’t eating or relaxing? Well, training of course! Each morning KK took the group through a HIIT workout and each afternoon Danny took them through a boot camp style workout with team building.
The workouts were absolutely killer, but it was hard to complain when you were training in one of the most beautiful places around! The scenery and weather during the training sessions was just perfect.
In between workout sessions each day the group enjoyed a bit of downtime where they could do relax and enjoy the outdoors. They were each treated to a lovely massage by Nina as well.
During their downtime, they also each got to have a 1-2-1 session with the Head Unraveler, Tim. Tim works hard to help people overcome anything in their life that may be holding them back (i.e. traumatic experiences, suppressed emotions, self-esteem struggles..anything!). Each retreater left their meeting with Tim feeling much lighter, one even described him as “total magic.”
With an early wake-up call, yoga, and two workout sessions each day the girls were feeling pretty exhausted after dinner, but managed to stay awake and enjoy a fab talk delivered by Scott on healthy living and how to incorporate it into your life.
On the final evening, we all sat around the camp fire behind our lodge shared stories and laughed into the night. It was truly the perfect end to a lovely weekend!
